Crested Geckos

Math

Math

Math is the oldest of the collection and our first crested. He came from Europe, from the collection of a friend herpetologist who's researched this species extensively. His morph is fire/flame, but we have seldom seen any like him. He very rarely gets darker, the slate grey-green and cream is his usual livery. He taught us a whole lot about Rhacodactylus and showed us what wonderful pets these lizards can be. We spent a lot of time and effort trying to find him a suitable partner or two, but did not succeed yet.

Gingerbread

Gingerbread

Gingerbread is an orange creamsicle, with a good body structure. He fires up bright golden and butter, when relaxed he is two slightly different shades of white and cream, and has a fetching personality. He'll be a pillar of our cream/yellow projects. He comes from Mark at Northern Gecko.

Saffron

Saffron

We've been told that Saffron is a nice yellow brindle. Nobody here is yet good enough to pin down the difference between tiger and brindle with certainty, so we ascribe him to that morph and leave further discriminations to better experts than us. His color is good but his structure is less than we strive for, so for the moment he is not a part of any breeding project. He was bred by Krista at Safe Havens.

Spiff

Spiff

Here's Spiff, who sings to his girls! Really, he courts them by making long and varied clicking noises... they seem to like it. He is a red harlequin, with a very good structure, and so very bright that we keep staring at him... he can be found fired up most of the time as well. He is the strong suit of our red harlequin projects. He comes from Mark at Northern Gecko.

Madder

Madder

Madder is awesomely coloured, even if his structure is not so solid. He is a deep red dalmatian, with red spots alongside the black ones, and he's getting spottier over time. He fires up every time somebody takes him out. He descends from Anthony Caponetto's famed male Chips and he'll be a part of our dalmatian projects. He was bred by Mark at Northern Gecko.

Curlicue

Curlicue

An applause, please! Curlicue made our jaw drop to the floor and we had to have him. He is a full pinstripe full lateral harlequin, with the outstanding structure that sets his bloodline apart, and crowned on top of that. He has two liveries, cream and lavender when relaxed and cream and chocolate when fired up: either is very nice! He was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.

Minx

Minx

Minx is a dark harlequin, with a good structure. Her colors contrast is quite nice even when she is not fired up, and she will happily climb on an offered hand. She is part of our dark fire/harlequin project. She was bred by Mark at Northern Gecko.

Bloody

Bloody

What to say about a red bi-color? That it should be bright! And Bloody is bloody dark red, as the Brit in the family is wont to say. She is bold and has a good body structure. She is part of our red project and was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.

Kobold

Kobold

Kobold owes her name to the impish expressions she pulls. Although her structure is not magnificent, she more than makes up for it in color. A red dalmatian, when not fired up she is an interesting shade of pale pink. She is part of our red dalmatian project. She comes from Mark at Northern Gecko.

Koolia

Koolia

Here's an impressive red harlequin. She's really all yellow flames on a bright red background. She's taken a bit to become less spooky, and in the process lost her tail, but she's no less pretty for that. She's forefront in our red harlequin project. She comes from Mark at Northern Gecko.

Uber

Über

This one, was called for some time "the awesome". So she became Über at home. All about her is over the top: her structure, her colour, and her personality, because she gets where she wants to and has no fear. She'll make for some interesting experiments in the volatile Rhacodactylus genetics. She was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.

Carbuncle

Carbuncle

Carbuncle is a very nice red flame, her background is very intense and her orange and cream is bright. She's part of our red projects. She was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.

Brocade

Brocade

Another cherished gem, Brocade is a full pinstripe with very nice contrasting colors and great general structure. Her name was given because of the peculiar pattern inside her dorsal stripe. She's the star of our pinstripe project. She was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.

Wyrd

Wyrd

Wyrd was a must have as soon as Lycina saw her hatchling picture. For a tiger dalmatian, she's pretty unique... and the darker stripes actually are green in natural light. We'll see what comes out of her when we have some male to pair her up with. She was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.

Glower

Glower

Glower is a orange/yellow flame who's almost constantly fired up. The yellow on her dorsal and crests is very bright and her body is an intense mustard. She is part of our yellow/creamsicle projects. She was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.

Dunquist

Dunquist

This girl is a red harlequin and when not fired up she's lavender and cream. Great structure too. She goes with our red harlequin project. She was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.

Ytig

Ytig

Another shining one, Ytig is a yellow tiger with bright white marks on lips, fringe and portholes. She'll be part of our yellow and tiger projects. She was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.

Ember

Ember

Ember is an extreme red harlequin. She does not often fire up completely, but when she does she's stunning. She's part of our red harlequin project. She comes from Mark at Northern Gecko.

Zazzera

Zazzera

Her name meaning "mop of hair" in Italian, Zazzera is remarkable for her beautiful horned crests and her deep contrast of almost black, cream and white. A dark fire with an amazing structure, she is part of our dark fire/harlequin project. She was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.

Kustard

Kustard

Kustard is a chocolate harlequin with great contrast and a crowned head. She's also very stocky and determined that all the food in the world belogs to her. She is part of our dark fire/harlequin project. She was bred by Betty at Gecko Brothel.
